Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Daino website and mobile application (collectively, the "Service") operated by Daino ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. About Daino

Daino is an AI-powered language learning platform operated by Maksym Skvortsov. Payments grant access to a certain amount of AI practice, including text and voice interactions, homework checks, and translation usage. Payments are processed securely by authorized payment providers, depending on the platform used to access the Service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By registering or using Daino, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

3. Services Provided

All users have access to interactive AI chat, lessons, voice practice, personalized feedback, vocabulary training, and homework checks. Paid subscriptions provide a higher volume of AI practice.

4. Mobile Application Use

Our Service may also be available through a mobile application. The mobile application provides access to the same core functionality as the website, including AI chat and voice practice. Use of the mobile application may require access to certain device features, such as microphone access for voice interactions.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions grant a certain amount of AI practice rather than a recurring time period. Payments may be processed through different authorized payment providers depending on the platform used to access the Service. For website users, payments are processed by PayPro Global, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. For mobile application users, subscriptions may be purchased through the respective application marketplace (such as Apple App Store or Google Play), in accordance with the marketplace’s payment policies. Invoices and receipts are issued by the respective payment provider. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

Refunds for website purchases are handled according to our 7-day refund policy and are available for the unused portion of AI practice. For subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are subject to the policies of the respective marketplace. 7. Data Collection & Analytics

We use analytics services (such as PostHog) to collect usage data linked to your account, including voice dialogues, exercises, notes and homework checks. 8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and software of Daino are owned by us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Content generated through the AI tutor (e.g., notes, exercises) remains your personal study material. You are allowed to share screenshots or describe your learning experience on social media, as long as you do not sell, redistribute, or claim ownership of the AI-generated content itself.

9. Termination of Service

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, use the service unlawfully, or attempt to bypass usage limits without purchasing additional AI practice. Repeated violations may result in permanent termination.

10. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee learning outcomes, and we are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from its use.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ukraine. For users outside Ukraine, Ukrainian law still applies.
